Obituary of Tommy Lee Walker, Sr.
Tommy Lee Walker, Sr. passed away on February 6, 2015. He was born on April 23, 1959 in Richland, GA, to Tommy Farr Walker and Glimmie Dean Holloman.
Tommy served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed basketball, music, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; his grandparents, Willie Sam Bardge and Rena Mae Clark Bardge, and Charlie Frank Walker and Annie Raye Walker; and siblings, Shirley McCloud, Willie C. Statham, Jr., Larry C. Walker and Robert L. Walker.
He is survived by his loving wife Dianna Walker; children, Tomisha Lee Walker (North Virginia), Tommy Lee, Jr. (North Virginia), Sommer Murrell (California), Sirena Addison (North Virginia), Robert Murrell (California), James Anthony Murrell (California); grandchildren, Carson Chaisson, Robert, Jessie, Domanick, Damaria, and Sequoia Murrell (California), Shakeira, Keishana, Adrian and Shakeel Fuller (North Virginia); sisters, Louise (Kenneth) Stevens (GA), Bobbie Ann Walker and Roslynn (Jerome) Parker (GA); brothers, Alphonso (Roxanna) Walker (GA), Anthony (Angela) Holloman (GA), Eddie Gene Holloman (GA), Waver Lee Statham (GA) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233 and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Navy Gateway NAS Jacksonville, 844 Mustin Road Jacksonville, Florida 32212.
