Dear beloved family of Edward Croston, I am so sorry for your loss. It takes a special person to care for the needs of others when they sick. It is clear that Edward did just that wih great skill. He will be missed by all whose life he touched. We are living in a time where we experience so much pain, suffering, and sorrow. Soon we can look forward to a time here on earth when these things will not exist any more. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May the hope in this scripture bring you comfort and strength to endure the days ahead.

I have not seen Edward for many years. I do remember when we would see each other a big smile and hugs for his aunt. He was a happy energetic young man. Such a loss at a young age. Prayers for each family member and friend that he has left behind.

Words can't begin to describe the absolute feelings of loss confusion and despair that the home calling of my friend, coworker, and my brother in arms has caused many that loved and knew him. However that may never hold a match to these same feelings that his wife, and children are experiencing. To simply say "my condolences" or "I'm sorry for your loss" isn't enough but all most have to offer. I offer that and a promise to always hold his memory close to my heart and to pray that the passing of time heals our broken hearts, and provides strength to face every day with a smile. Edward was a great friend, an awesome RN and a brother in arms that will always have a special place in my heart...until we meet again..Semper Fi devil dog

Edward was my RN preceptor at the VA. I can not express my hurt and pain for his passing. Edward was always available and willing to teach or show me a procedure and I would break my neck looking for him training day. I must say, the world is a little more empty with Edward's passing. I still can't believe is no longer with us. Travel well and rest in peace Edward. You were a real dude and I appreciated that!

It was a great pleasure to work with Edward, Not Eddie, Not Ed, Edward. When he's around I always felt safe. It was nice to have a walking computer when it came to repairing a car or repairing just about anything. Edward will be missed but never forgotten.
