Miguel was more than a friend, he was like a brother to me. From the beginning when we met at the ESL program at Jefferson High School in Daly City, California; we bonded right away and became best friends. We had many adventures during our youth years and made many other friends along the way. As we grew older and had our own families and living far from each other, we kept the bonding and brotherhood by caliing each other often. I love my friend, my brother and I'll miss him very much until one day we'll meet again. Hasta luego mi amigo, mi hermano.

Dr Batlle was my father's doctor for years and when he passed I chose Dr Batlle as mine and when I met my wife took him as her Dr also. A great man who always took care of us. Dr Batlle saved my wives life, without him I would not still have her. We will miss him and his compassion. Thank you Dr Batlle. Our prayers are with you and your family. Dr. Batlle was responsible for diagnosing me correctly with non hodgkins lymphoma. He gave me a much longer life and I am forever thankful for his medical knowledge and insight. No matter how distressed or ill I felt, I always left his office feeling like my life mattered. His laugh was contagious and I always left my appointment with a smile on my face. He is truly an unforgettable and remarkable man.

Dr, Batlle was our doctor for over 15 years. We too felt he was a friend as well as our doctor. We waited patiently for our turn at our appointments. He was worth it. He was a very kind and caring man. He made sure we got into a specialist immediately for not only my husband's breast cancer but also for his prostate cancer. We feel his fast action in both situations is the reason my husband is here today. We will miss Dr. Batlle terribly. It is going to be very difficult to find another doctor as caring and devoted to his patients as he was.

To the family of Doctor Batlle, I wish to express my sincere condolences at the passing of this wonderful man. He has been my doctor for more years than I can remember (more than 15 years I believe). It may sound cliche, but he really did treat me as more than just a patient. He made me feel like a friend and this I will never forget. It has been a little over a month since I last saw him and I can vividly remember our last conversation. He always took his time with me and happily and thoroughly answered any questions or concerns I may have had. I am out of the country and will not be able to be in attendance at the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I pray for your comfort and strength and the soothing of your aching hearts. Only time can lessen the pain of losing a loved one, but the memories left behind can be a source of contentment and peace. I am going to miss Dr. Batlle very much. An incredible sadness that I was not able to shake, stayed with me all day, but I am not going to dwell in that place. He would not want me to. And I believe that my doctor knows best. God bless you.

Our Thoughts and prayer are with the Family and Staff of Dr. Batlle. I have been a patients for over 10 years, my husband a little lease time. Dr Batlle was a caring, patient, informative man. He is the one and only person, that knew more about me, my health, feeling,s and problems than even my husband. I will miss him an our monthly visits, more than I can say, For some reason, I don't know why, I just didn't think he, being a Doctor would not or could not died. I am very sad. There are no words for me to describe your loss that I feel in my heart. Although I've been a patient for just a little over sixteen years, my heart aches. It was a privilege to have a doctor that I could relate to on so many different levels. The Spirit will live on forever in our minds and in our hearts.
