Obituary of Mary Pace Scott

Mary Pace Scott passed away on December 1, 2014. She was born on October 31, 1938, in Pactolus, North Carolina. She grew up in Eastern North Carolina and graduated from Bath High School in Bath, North Carolina. In 1957, she married her husband, Wayne Scott, a career member of the USMC. She was a wonderful mother and wife, assuring the family functioned well during her husband’s many trips overseas. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Wayne (Scotty); daughters, Judith Gradick (Edward), Rebecca Gill; son, Gary Scott; grandson, Michael Gill; granddaughter, Zoe Gradick; sisters, Ethel Crisp, Louise Rader, Bertha Tyson; brother, John Taylor Colville; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Orange Park United Methodist Church, 2051 Park Ave, Orange Park, Florida, 32073.
