Obituary of Jose Manuel Ramirez

Jose Manuel Ramirez passed away on April 18, 2015 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on January 28, 1948 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the late Felix Ramirez and Marcelle Dehandschutter. Jose graduated from Joseph Bulova School of Watch Making, became a watch maker and worked at Sandmark House. His hobbies included model planes and airplanes. In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by his grandparents, Armand and Simone Dehandschutter. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Maria Yolanda Ramirez; daughters, Michelle Shaffer and Cheryl Mitcham; sons, Felix Ramirez and Paul Ramirez Lifsey; grandsons, John Anthony Shaffer and Kyle David Shaffer; granddaughter, Sagin Ramirez; great-granddaughter, Lilyana Shaffer; uncle, Roger Dehandschutter from Belgium; cousins, Sandrine, Solange, Daniel and Joseline Dehandschutter; friends, Kirstin Chelius, Richard Chelius, Mr. Rodriguez and numerous family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL, (904) 264-1233 The family would like to thank all family and friends for the special acts of kindness during our time of bereavement.
