Obituary of Sharon L Mitchell

Sharon L. Mitchell passed away at her home in Green Cove Springs, FL, surrounded by family on November 29, 2014. Sharon was born on December 22, 1939 in Birmingham, MI, to the late Louis E. Benn and Pearl LaCharity. Sharon loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, loved all animals, and rescued many of her pet cats during her lifetime. She was also an avid golfer. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Harold C. Mitchell; son, Timothy B. (Kathy L.) Mitchell; daughter, Jerrette C. (Michael A.) Zoner; grandsons, Nicholas M. and Matthew M. Zoner and Declan E. Mitchell; and brothers, Lynn and Rodney Benn. Private services will be held in Connecticut at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org/index) or a local animal shelter.
