Obituary of Dean A. Skaggs

Dean A. Skaggs passed away on March 26, 2015. He was born on August 31, 1970 in El Paso, TX, to Cathryn Skaggs and the late William Skaggs. Dean held a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a communication specialist. He enjoyed fishing and wood working. Dean is survived by his loving wife, Yudy A. Skaggs; son, Jonathan Skaggs; daughter, Ashley Skaggs; mother, Cathryn Skaggs; and special friends, Stephen Gosnell, Jorge Turo and Kevin Gaddist. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of service. The family extends special thanks to Community Hospice for the special care and support given to them.
