Obituary of William Tardiff

William Tardiff, 91, a loving father, died February 16, 2015 at the Acosta-Rua Center of Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. Bill was born May 20, 1923 in Bay City, MI, to William Napoleon Tardiff and Stella Marie Talbot. He fought valiantly at Pearl Harbor. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Kathleen “Kay” Tardiff. He is survived by his two sons, William and Richard, five grandchildren, five and a half great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Bill will be interred at a future date with military honors at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in his memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 5450 Ramona Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
