Obituary of Deloris Porterfield

Deloris Porterfield passed away on March 6, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on September 5, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Freddie and Emily Jackson, Sr. Deloris was a deaconess at her church. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Johnnie L. and Eddie A. Jackson. Deloris is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie Porterfield; sons, John (Jennifer) and James (Caren) Porterfield; grandchildren, Gary, Jordan and Karissa Porterfield; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Dozier; brothers, Freddie Jr., Timothy, Percy and Terry Jackson; sister, Gennie Randolph; friends, Dorothy Martin, Zelda Lovett and Charles and Bobbie Dozier, and a host of other family and friends. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., and a visitation on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., both at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2538 Firestone Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210.
