Obituary of Deepak Yamdagney

Deepak Yamdagney, beloved husband of Dr. Jaya Shekar, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born on September 8, 1941 in Jodhpur, India to the late Vishnu Dutt Sharma and Shanti Sharma. Deepak held a doctoral degree in engineering and was a senior member of the Ontario Association of Professional Engineers, Canada. He enjoyed gourmet cooking and traveling. Deepak is survived by his wife, Dr. Jaya Shekar; children, Dr. Harsha Rajashekar and Kiran Shekar; brothers, Arun Sharma, Ashok Sharma, and Col. Aditya Gour; nephews, Apoorva, Sunjay, Arjun and Abhimanyu Sharma; nieces, Manika and Bhavana Sharma. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hindu Society of Northeast Florida, 4968 Greenland Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:15 p.m. followed by an hour of viewing both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073 (904) 264-1233.
