Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Marsha Griffin; sons, James “Jim Jim” Griffin III (Ebony), Anthony Griffin (Trina) and Shannon Tucker (Niki), all of Philadelphia, and Melvin Tucker (Renee), Oakland Park, FL; daughters, Keena Tucker, Philadelphia, Maria Hadley, Atlantic City, NJ, and Monica Galloway, Jacksonville; sister, Mildred Pompey, Philadelphia; sister-in law, Patricia Tucker; brothers-in-law, Herbert Tucker and Kevin Tucker, Philadelphia; goddaughter, Tiki Nichols, Atlanta, GA; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Also special friends James considered family, Robert Ellerson of Starke, Army buddies and partners-in-crime, Clyde Taylor and Eugene Wiggins; his pastor and deacon, Pastor Pearlie and Deacon Ira Hudson; and his four legged best friend and companion of 14 years, Missy.
A special "thank you" to his granddaughter and caregiver, Stacey Brown.
