Obituary of Claude E. Brown

Claude E. Brown passed away on June 13, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on June 12, 1935 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Claude Brown and Gertrude Cogle Brown. Claude was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed sports, old movies and was an avid pinochle player. Claude was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Helen Johnson, Catherine Smith. Claude is survived by his loving wife, Etta Tipton Brown; sons, Joseph E.(Frankie)Brown and Gregory E. Brown; grandchildren, Cory, Nathan, Bryant and Cody Brown and Shannon Kaufman; sisters, Vesta Faye Bucher; brothers, Bill and Louis Brown and Phillip Smith; great-grandchildren, Myles Brown and Cadence Kaufman; special nephew, Paul E. (Buddy) Newport and many nieces, nephews and friends. A service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. and a visitation on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
