Obituary of Cecelia Lenza

Cecelia W. Lenza, 87, a resident of Orange Park, FL, passed away with her family at her bedside on April 22, 2016. She was previously a longtime resident of North Brunswick, NJ. Ceil was born in Staten Island and later moved with her husband to Edison, NJ. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed by Western Electric in her early years, then by North Brunswick Township as a school crossing guard. She also worked for Carolier Lanes for 37 years until she finally retired in the late 90s. She was a woman of many talents. Her passion was reading and raising her children, then her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, George G. Lenza; sisters, Mildred Van Kyrk and Florence D. Ogrodowski; brothers, Matthew Campbell and William Campbell; and grandson, Kyle Lenza. Ceil is survived by daughters, Melissa Holtrop (Bill) and Patti Corcoran (Brian) of Orange Park, FL; sons, George W. Lenza (Kristin) and Daniel J. Lenza (Pauline); 12 grandchildren, Daniel Lenza Jr., Thomas Lenza, Matthew Lenza, Vincent Lenza, David Lenza, Kevin Lenza, Kenny Corcoran, Mark Holtrop, Christopher Holtrop, LeighAnn Corcoran, Renee Corcoran and Christina Corcoran; 11 great grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Nielson and Isabelle Campbell. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
