Obituary of Joyce Styron Witt

Joyce S. Witt passed peacefully, surrounded by her three sons, on February 6, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on November 9, 1939 in Gainesville, FL, to the late Josephine Pearson Harper. Joyce retired from Riverside Presbyterian House, belonged to the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed birds and flowers. In addition to her mother, Ms. Witt was preceded in death by her stepfather, Raymond Harper, and grandparents, Sampa and Della Pearson Hill. Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her three sons, James “Jim” E. Witt, Jr., Paul E. Witt and Mark J. Witt; grandchildren, Jamie, Hannah, Jacob, Kayla and Noah Witt. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a funeral on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
